Hi, compared to the more extensive siphon set ups within their irrigation systems that some larger growers use ( http://www.ourfigs.com/forum/blueber...-acidification ), I use a simple hose-end siphon mixer. (see links below). When I first got my blueberries, I used to fill a trash can with the right mix, and dispersed it with a bucket. But as my collection grew, I had to find a better way, and these small little gizmos are the way.
I had been using the brass one for a few years, but it seems to have finally stopped working so I ordered the blue plastic one and used it for the first time this morning, and it's working well. The only catch is the ratio of water to concentrated solution is a bit different. 16:1 with the old brass Hozon, 20:1 using the new blue Dramm. Though I don't believe either is totally accurate.
Don't be put off by some of the bad reviews - many people don't use them properly. If you do set it up right, they make watering/acidifying/fertilizing a smaller number of blueberries much easier.
