Hello, what is the apricot tree for zone 7 a/b? large and sweet would be best.

Van Well, WA recommends Tilton. I have a two year old here in the Raleigh area that great vigor. Raleigh area is 7b.

Adams County Nursery is based in PA (like you) and all the apricot trees they sell should do well in your climate.

I'm thinking about getting an apricot for next season. While reading through the growingfruit forum, TomCot is mentioned as one of the best performers on the East coast. Oddly though, only West coast nurseries (like Raintree) carry that variety.
