  • Blueberry Squatter

I have a new Legacy blueberry bush that has an uninvited guest which I think is a wild tomato plant (which neighbor has). Can somebody confirm?

Looks like a tomato plant to me, too. I'd yank it out. You probably don't want it competing with the blueberry for water and nutrients. It's still small enough that if you wanted to keep the tomato, you could probably transplant it somewhere else.

Definitely a tomato, but not sure if wild or not. Like Johnny said, you could certainly transplant it, tomatoes root so easy.

I keep reading the title of this thread as Blueberry Squalor. Is that anything like a Fig Ghetto, lol?

I'm from the south so it could be, what is a "Squalor"? A Cali superbug? An upset pig?
