Interesting practice at the 5:08 mark as well as a renewed interest in learning Japanese.

Hey Gina. I too have been watching these videos regularly. I agree about watching a master gardener. It comes with time, experience, growing the soil and a symbiosis with the Earth. I sent the farmer a message about 10 days ago asking some questions: what is the blueberry rootstock, what are those wire connectors used for the trellises, and what are the ingredients in his 'bokashi'? No answer yet. I also sent a few links to select videos, included some time marks and asked for translations. The quality of his produce, not only his blueberries, are a testament to his soil.

Thanks for the link, JD. I've been watching the videos the past few days. I found a playlist for them which makes watching easier. Very nice to see a master gardener at work. They use their space very efficiently, and their beds seem quite fluid. It's too bad there aren't subtitles in English so I would know more of what they were doing.
