  • Propagating Wild Cardoons

When I was much younger my grandparents would take me to various fields and farms to cut Cardoon. The issue I have is most lands are now occupied with homes. I would like to grow them but no commercial seed exists that I know of for the variety I want.

This first picture is the one I call "Commercial" Seeds which the readily available. The second picture is the one that I'm after. Yes, its the one you see on the side of the roads.

This site has much better pictures: https://www.recipesandramblings.com/...ldgardoons.htm
