I'd appreciate any insight as to whether my plants are developing normally or are diseased. I live in Atlantic Canada and planted two high bush bleuberry plants last summer (Duke and Patriot) and when I checked them out this week, the tips of the canes had turned black and were dead--dried right out and easily snapped off. I did some research and some said that this was normal but others made it seem like some stem disease. Has anyone had a similar problem? Thks.

This time of yr in Canada my first though is winter cold damage. I'd prune off the damaged parts and see how the plants do this summer.Alpine, Texas 4500ft elevation Zone 7
