This five year old in ground tree receives about eight hours of sunlight daily.

This fig was a honey flavor and no berry taste. The skin was just a little chewy
and there was no seed crunch. I gave it an 8 on 1-10.

I just checked on a cutting I have of this rooting and I can’t believe the roots! Wow!

it looks like it’s going to be a vigorous grower. Is that your experience with this variety?

Your B.N does not look like mine. Mine has a grey hue to it and is flat, with a nice deep berry flavor and no honey to it! like to see more fruit of yours.

Hey Brian is this the same as Violette de Sollies. I just order and was looking up and french fig farm has listed some other synm. like Bourjassotte noire, Barnissote noire, Parisienne origins from Baud.

shelf life.

Yes it is! my second year trees are enormous in 15 gal pots. Interested to see how Noire de Barbentane and Bordisotte Negra compare to it since I have all 3.
