Got this last year from KK as a small plant at end of summer. It grew nicely this year and put on figs. Not really fair to judge the figs yet but they are just ok now. Oh I could eat a bunch of them but the flavor is mild and diluted. They are just a little sweet. Not much.

Thats pretty good for early fruiting. It will get there. Here is what I said about it this year and the link.

This tree is in its second year and is in a 10 gallon pot. It only receives about five hours of direct sunlight
per day. This is a special fig from "KK" which he named for a friend of his named Anthony who passed.

These two figs are the first figs ever from this tree. It looks to be a very good producer although not
an aggressive growing tree. The flavor is of sweet berries but not overly sweet. It does have a good
figgy flavor but not overly so. The skin is tender but not of a flavor of its own. There is no seed crunch.
    I gave it an 8 on a 1-10.

newnandawg: The good thing is its an early fig. And I do believe it will get much better next year. I am laughing a little bit because although it sounds a little like I am complaining, I would gladly eat 10 in a row. Kinda like drinking "light beer"
