Hi All,
I took a Figo Preto cutting and began rooting it beginning of March. It was transplanted from a plastic Solo cup into a gallon pot less than two weeks ago (Start of July). The fig is barely with a 6” stem of growth and I’m counting 7 tiny figs starting to form. While I find this as fantastic in the sense I may have a very prolific Figo Preto starting to establish, has anyone else had young cuttings (perhaps other varieties) producing so many figs on such tiny growth? Regrettably, I’m in a zone 5 climate so they will be taken off at some point soon so the plant spends its energy on growth.
I’m just curious to know how many others in fig-land have cuttings that appear to be so productive.
