        Critical hit for massive damage. If any of them has a ripening time advantage, I’ll know in a few years, but the fruit sure looks comparable.

                I have a BM, it just started putting out some figlets about 2 weeks ago or so, I'm pretty sure I should have enough season for them to ripen.

                However, if Figo Preto is much earlier and virtually the same, maybe I should trade in my BM?

                  It was only recently I decided to purchase a BM, So it is only about 2' tall, and hearing that it is a long season fig....seeing them popping out not made me think of just taking them off and letting the plant focus on growing.

                  But I think I should be fine, and next year they will possibly pop out earlier. I hope.
