First season growing out campin cutting and I think it's getting too much direct sun. What do you think should I move it from this location or is something else going on? It gets very strong direct sun throughout the morning hours.

Looks like fertilizer burn. I know because I did it to 2 of my trees this year. Try going half strength on the miracle grow.USDA zone 4b. Ontario

Where are you located that you are worried about direct sun in th morning ? My trees are exposed to full sun from 10 am and they dont flinch. Only damage I see is if I don't water for 3 days and some pots get really dry and new leaves get some sun burn.Frisco,TX - Zone 8a - Follow me @thefarmingtales on Insta.

I've been fertilizing with 1 tbsp of Miracle Grow in a large watering can once a week I can try half the dose. However I think I'm going to move it to the backyard. I just part of the tree is shaded as it's starting to grow under the garage.
the yard is on the west side of my house it gets a lot more sunLast edited by RobM; 07-19-2021, 10:58 AM.
