  • Capannari help?

First season growing out campin cutting and I think it's getting too much direct sun. What do you think should I move it from this location or is something else going on? It gets very strong direct sun throughout the morning hours.

Only my second year. But, I don’t know that you can have to much sun, unless you are AZ? Looks more like a nutrient deficiency of some type

I've Ben fertilizing once a week with Miracle-Gro I'll try adding some amendments to the soil like worm castings and maybe some lime.

You may be over doing the fertilizer as is. I would not start throwing anything else at it until you flush out the pot and try a lower dose (see below) going forward.

Looks like fertilizer burn. I know because I did it to 2 of my trees this year. Try going half strength on the miracle grow.

Where are you located that you are worried about direct sun in th morning ? My trees are exposed to full sun from 10 am and they dont flinch. Only damage I see is if I don't water for 3 days and some pots get really dry and new leaves get some sun burn.

Long Island, it could be a little sunburn. I was on vacation for a week .
I've been fertilizing with 1 tbsp of Miracle Grow in a large watering can once a week I can try half the dose. However I think I'm going to move it to the backyard. I just part of the tree is shaded as it's starting to grow under the garage.
the yard is on the west side of my house it gets a lot more sun

The recommended dosage is 1 tbsp per gallon every two weeks. Are you using a two gallon measuring can, filing it to the top, and giving each tree half of the contents?
