First Fig Ever

Last week I picked the last one of the Pine Tree Plantation, this one was the most ripe so far. Unfortunately I couldn't see the inside of it. I have to wait for the new figlets to ripen in fall.

This one was reserved for a special and very kind lady. My husband's GG.

She had never tasted a fig in her life,, she is 86 years old......so I figured it's about time.

She loved it!

I'm amazed how it grows and produces. And the fig does get darker, I just have to be a little bit more patient 🙃
