  • Prunning newly growing fig trees

I have two newly growing fig trees I started last year. They are over three feet tall
and seem pretty established. My question is can I prune them this year? If yes when
is a good time to prune?
    Thank you,
    Stephen

Late fall/early winter after your trees go dormant.

Thanks I have two other Fig trees that I prune after i get all fruit off. Should I prune the young plants at the same time?

Most of us prune at the start of dormancy, right before storage/wrapping, unless it's a tree that only produces a first (breba) crop.
