  • Faja de Ovelha Main 2021

Got a rooted cutting from DaveL. This one really surprised me with how early it is and such a vigorous grower as well.

Probably need eat a few more of them. But so far this what I taste sweet, berry-like acidic, soft skin, little to no seed crunch.

If it ripens in zone 7a than it's for me 😎.
I like how small it is. Nicely done!!

JMF75 Yeah that's two people ripening it pretty early. I also like that it is a small fig; it might be a winner! It was one of DaveL 's top recommendations to me. I think maybe he was on to something. Thanks Dave!!

Yeah I’m 2 for 2 in terms of good figs from my new tree. This could end up being a surprise “winner” in 2021.

This one was super sweet. My wife said the sweetness of intense like syrup jam. I am very pleasantly surprised with it. Vigorous and productive.

I put mine in the greenhouse this year and I’m almost certain it wouldn’t have needed it. Small tree is loaded. I’ll up mine to a bigger pot this year and leave it out this winter.

Thanks for all the love. Just want to give a shout out to Rui, longtime F4F and Ourfigs member, from whom I sourced this tree.

This was the most ripe one off my tree. Mine are much darker here. Maybe that has something to do with our lack of humidity.
