I don’t think they were caprified but they were actually really good. This year, I just noticed the first fig started to swell. It’s huge compared to last year. Also, I now know I have the wasp as I see them nearly every morning. Yesterday, I was terrified thinking that the birds were going to discover my first caprified BM. There was no way I could use an organza bag as this fig is tightly wedged between branches and other figs.

    Luckily, I was able to find a mosquito tent are REI. Not bad at 24$ for a XXX large size organza bag. Hope it works!

        Very nice! I’ve been eating a few Violeta figs this weekend and they sure are tasty 😋 Couldn’t wait until they were perfectly ripe, too many ants nearby

              Black Madeira is so good uncaprified that yours must be over the top incredible!!
