So I might be heading down from Seattle to the Norcal fig meet-up in Winthers. I would also go to Wolfskill. I have never been. Whats the situation? Are you simply allowed to freely roam and taste?

I believe I read on this forum that it is by appointment....and there is probably some sort of waiting list. Evdurtschi has some info on this. I think Netstars also may have info on this. Certainly they would not allow you to "roam freely" on your own. People would be snapping cuttings off trees and picking fruit...generally doing damage. That would be a very exciting tour. I hope you are able to reserve a spot for yourself in the right time frame.
