Intense color and taste, good grower, the eye opens a little when fully ripe but is sealed with syrup. Wry nice fig.

        Great looking fig Igor!

Mine are just starting to ripen, they are third year grafted branches and I already know BG will stay on the "keepers" list. Some have a bit of brown sugar / fig newton filling flavor which I love.

I have a grafted BG that I have set a AL on and two SB rooted cutting that are in there second up potting waiting on a 10gal pot. The grafted BG is full of figs and the cuttings have none. I have read they are the same, I will have a better idea next year. I am kinda hoping not. I have read good things on both.

Another possible synonym is Violet Sepor.

I have Violet Sepor in ground and I hope to get my first figs this year. Hopefully as good as the BG above!
