    I have been getting more figs than my family can eat and we aren’t even into full swing yet!! I’m hosting a fig tasting tonight and these are some of the beauties that will be shared.

          Saw that third one and just knew it was UP... still my benchmark fig... although highly anticipating and hoping Raspberry Tart fruits next season.

                  aaron Zaffiro, Smith, Golden Rainbow, Lampeira and UP were the favorites. Different people choosing different ones but I had a solid 20 varieties and those 4 were the ones singled out.

                        Hey, give me 6 hours notice and there's a 50/50 chance I just might show up and call your bluff

                        I've still only had 1 Prosc. Unk breba and no main crop figs this year. The in-ground fig trees are looking good though, but I'm going to be away for a month from mid August to mid September, and I have a sinking feeling that a good portion of my crop will be ripening at that time. Again, the rats will feast but I will be figless. Oh, the humanity!

                      I wish my figs looked like that! My fruits colored up nicely this year, but there is no distinctive flavor. I am hoping it's just due to all the rain we have been having.
