  • Successful air layer

This one has a ton of roots and I'm hoping to use it as rootstock for a small frankenfig this next spring.

Great job!! It’s always a good feeling when airlayer is successful. I grafted on one branch and air layered at the same time and it was a success 😃

Fishninja AL looks nice. I pulled one off over the weekend also. With time left in the season I wanted to get it transplanted to give it a few extra weeks to establish in its new home. This AL was actually "up potted' while still on the tree going from a small water bottle to a larger one.
