For the last 3 years I’ve been beyond blessed with gifts from various folks here. I have learned a ton, and I’ve ended up being far more successful in rooting than I thought I would be. As a way for me to say thank you to all those who have taught me, influenced me, and given me so much, it’s time to pass it on.
What I’ll be giving away won’t necessarily be anything earth shattering, just extras that I need to get rid of before I go back to work in a couple weeks. Here’s how this is going to work:
If you claim a tree, you agree to pay for shipping. It can range from ~$10-$30 depending on how far away you are. Local pick up is super cool though. Just saying. It’s work to box trees up to send out. Speaking of shipping, if a tree gets pinched going to CA, I’m not responsible. Also this is only open to continental US.
Try to be cognizant of mail delays and hot weather. I try to do a good job packing stuff but anything will get stressed being in the mail more than 4 or 5 days. Please don’t get mad at me over that. I’ll let you know via PM when I send stuff out. I’m busy, it’ll happen, but be patient.
One tree per person. No claiming multiple trees. If two tree posts drop at the same time you have to choose one. If you enter and don’t win, you can enter new posts after the previous one is over.
When a tree is posted here, I will give a specified time for you to enter your name in the hat for that tree. I will update as often as needed until the extras are gone. I’m not going to say how many I have until the end when I post the last one. Simply comment under the post for the tree you want and your name goes in a drawing for that tree. You’ll have to watch to see when I update.
For my sanity, do me a solid and keep comments strictly to the tree posts until the end. I just want to keep things decluttered if we can.
I want this to be fair for everybody. I may throw in some quirky requirements once in awhile, like you have to have a certain number of posts to qualify for X tree.
For others that have extras if you want to jump in to give your stuff away with me, I’d love that. Hopefully you’ll see how I’m doing this and you can follow along.
