  • Connecticut Whole Foods fig trees.

    Stopped by a local Whole Foods and saw 2 gal. trees, 2-3 feet tall, some wit figs, on sale. Varieties offered are Black Spanish, Brown Turkey, LSU Purple and Italian Honey. $15.99 each.

    I went on a recon today at WholeFoods in Darien CT and heres the intell I gathered .......Nice little trees for $15.00

        I got LSU Purple at a Wholefoods in Portland, ME a couple years back and it was true to type, for whatever that's worth. Decent trees for a very good value.

          Jesse, that amazes me that you can buy trees in ME, but I can't in CO.

          I saw these here in MA too. When I pointed them out to my wife she said, "you need more fig trees like you need a whole in the head."

          I think I might have reached my wife's limit ...
