Nice figs. Where are you growing these figs?; are they growing in-ground or in pots?

Those look great. How would you describe the taste and flavor of Albo?

According to fig folk - Albo and Bianchetta are the same. Albo is sweet, but nothing super special taste/flavor wise. I would say about a 6 on a 1-10 scale.

That's too bad. That was one I had been interested in for some time. I heard it had a tropical flavor with a hint of pineapple. You don't see it mentioned too frequently. How old is your tree? Maybe it will taste differently in the future or if left to ripen longer.

I must add - Albo is setting figs for the first time this summer. I have found, like others, figs are at their best after 3 seasons or more. Albo was a good first year fig.

You’re a month ahead of me! A late frost slid up the mountains the end of April and killed everything to the ground - it’s going to be a good harvest year, but not till September!

Every time I read someone describing how well their figs are doing, the first question that comes to mind is in which climate, location, grow zone they are growing their figs. That is the only way I can relate to the information they are sharing, and whether or not that is relevant, or useful to my growing climate. I wonder why people don't see that this is important, and always disclose their growing climate/conditions, etc.
