  • Finally got a ripe caprified main crop fig from my unknown green tree.

The fig was bright red inside and had a nice chewy skin. It has a decent amount of acidity, kind of like a cross between a tart cherry and a raspberry. I've got a few more that have cracks in the skin that I'm going to let hang on the tree for a few more days. Really excited for them!

Thanks! I only had my first fresh fig last summer, so I'm definitely jumping into the hobby and enjoying the results.

Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree.
