Comparing sao Miguel roxo and black Greek

Sai Miguel roxo , black Greek and Hardy Chicago side by side, my favorite was sao Miguel roxo so far

Im seeing a bunch that are Etna Unks resembling black greek. Black greek was a great fig last year! I have an asheville unk & njff unk all looking similar. Some have double node breba. Lookin forward to it, black greek was #2 etna behind honey dripping Colasanti

Ahmed I grow three completely different varieties that are either called Black Greek or Dark Greek. Only one of them is a Mt. Etna type though: Unk. Black Greek (Marius). I am guessing that is the one you have.

Sao Miguel taste amazing syrupy and rich but over all they have the same taste profile

Interesting. If you have the space, it's probably a good idea to have some that are very similar but not quite exactly the same. Some seasons one may do a lot better than the other and vice versa. Hopefully one or 2 will always be doing really well and producing.

This my first fruit and was above the very first leaf , maybe after two or three years will be different just like yours 🙂
