  • German Unknown 8-15-2016

    I have posted on this fig in prior years. It came to me indirect from Germany as Brogiotto Bianco It is surely not. I find I have to pick it earlier than others as frequently spoils with that void in center, but it's a very unusual tasting and good fig when right. Not a intense flavor that I can't really profile, but my wife describes it as creamy and it is. It's one of my larger fruiting and the plant tends to grow very prostrate, and doesn't seem real hardy my in ground froze back in our relative mild last winter but growing back. This is from a potted plant.
