If the taste is good and you don't have a similar looking fig yourself then its a great addition to your collection. The name is useless if it tastes so so.
Tony, Toronto Canada USDA 4B now 5B apparently!!
    Wishlist:
Yellow Neches, St Martain, Texas Peach.

I think you're right. It tastes good.
He's father put in the ground 8years ago.

I think it might be Hardy Chicago or Black Mission.

It looks like VdS but I think he just bought easy one.

      Thank you for reply.

I will get some cutting. From him.

These 'help me identify' threads never work out. The best method is a good labeling system.
    Sorry man

      I figured haha.
      So many similar figs.
Even same figs depends on where it grow taste and looks different.

      Even people still talking about
Yellow Long Neck vs Robert's Golden Rainbow

      Black Madeira vs Figo Preto

      Anyway Thank you!

I personally use two methods. When the barknis thick enough I use the 'white marker' . When it's not and small I use the air conditioning aluminum tape. They not only endure moisture but what you write is indented in the material. It's also cheap
