  • Fig identification help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, I"m a new member here and up until a week ago, I've never had a fresh fig in my life.

I recently moved to the pacific northwest (zone 8a) and my neighbor lovingly shared some of his fresh figs with me. I loved it so much that I asked him for a cutting haha. He doesn't know what variety it is, the fig tree was there when he moved in. The skin is pretty soft, the fruit has a faint taste of flowers. It turns a pale green / yellow when ripe.

Hoping to get some help to ID the variety.

I'd appreciate any help on my first ever fig! Thank you in advance!

Welcome! Though I'm no expert, my guess given your location is Desert King.
