Anyone try making fig infused bourbon with a bit of fresh vannila bean? I found some very ripe VDB im going to try with some bourbon from costco. Im guessing bourbon with figs and vannila bean infusing for a few weeks shaking once and a while will do the job strain the fruit out and presto fig bourbon. Any one do this yet if so pointers suggestions?

I made some with both inexpensive bourbon and American Whiskey. Ended up coming out more like a liqueur, which I'm not a big fan of white more of a raisin-like flavor rather than fig-like.
I would much rather enjoy a plate of figs while sipping on some good bourbon.“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” – Source Unknown MA 5b/6a
