  • i258 main

    Large figs with excellent flavor, a robust grower and very productive. The figs split sometimes but not frequently (we have the dry air). Very nice variety !

    I wonder how I-258 would do here in central Alabama. We have high humidity and close to 50 inches of rain so far this year.
    Tim-Zone 8a/Northport, Alabama
    WL- Calderona, Black Tuscan, Genovese Nero AF or
    any good dark figs.

          It has been very split resistant for me , whether grown in the greenhouse or outside .
          For me it is different than Genovese Nero AF , later ripening , less syrupy , but even better flavor , a quality level just beyond GNAF .

              Ripening time is a medium duration. MBVS being very short and Black Madeira being very long for me
