  • Mel de Galicia 2021

Picked the first one today, 91 days to ripen. It's only early because I woke up the plant early to graft to it, I had intended to make a Galicia type and tried to add a Galicia Negra. The graft failed, but I'll try again this winter. Anyway, petite and very honey sweet, my wife and daughter thought honeydew mixed with the sweetness, and I'm not a melon guy, I didn't taste it. Nearly no seed crunch, it basically melted in your mouth.

I picked one of these up earlier this year. Glad to see some pics and info about it!
