  • Cessac Main 2021

One year old tree I got from fruitnut late last season.

It rained a lot today and yesterday, and I didnt expect much, but it was very very sweet and tasted really good, I cant wait to see how its going to be next season. I can see now why all the hype, its a keeper for me.

I've been wondering where the Cessac posts have been hiding...those first fig keepers are a rare bunch, so it most be special.

    Congrats man!

      Nice, way to go!
glad it’s a keeper for you.

Now grow that tree big so you can air layer and sell cuttings and irritate FDM

I had a few business interactions with them, and they were great and very professional.

As for airlayer and cuttings, thats a no no.

Why waste a cutting when you can graft and make 4 trees instead 😉 that I can trade for later

My tree is about 4 1/2 feet tall and has figs.
Mine came from FDMUSA and my experience has been 100% positive.

A lot of money for a fig the size of a nickel.

At least its a good one.

I’ve seen other varieties sell for far more on FigBid.

In comparison to other high quality and expensive figs, its a lot of money for sure.

The return on investment will be through trades and selling extras

That's the way to do it. Like anything else, the whole fig thing is a learning experience. Just better people to learn with.
