  • So good, I made it again with Smith

Made a fig, prosciutto, Stilton and buratta salad with Sangue Dolce/LSU Purple figs last week that was so good, I had to make it again today with SMITH & LSU PURPLE figs. It was sublime!

Ark Traveler blackberries - this is the late crop but they taste better than the early crop, just not as many. Click image for larger version

They look great. We've had some Prime Ark Freedom canes produce after the Japanese beetles took their fill eating all the flowers they could get.

Delicious. At least you got enough to make a salad, my Smith tree only has 2 figs. Not even enough to make jam for 1 slice of toast.

Terra I feel your pain. Yesterday I went food shopping and I seen they had Capicola. I was so excited because we haven’t had any for almost a year. Well it was $15 a pound so I had to pass on it and bought some ham and cheese instead. Never thought it was possible to drool and cry at the same time.
