I bought this Luv (Baud version) from WillsC three years ago and almost cut it down last year because it had yet to produce an edible fruit; it did have what looked like ripe fruit but they were dry and tasteless. Well I’ve ignored it this year until I was cutting around it and saw this fig that looked too good to pass up. It had been hanging for a while and looked overripe but ended up being perfectly delicious. It had a rich syrupy berry flavor that reminded me of black Madeira. So if you have this one be ready to hold on for about 3 years.
