Thousands of them in the yard. Do you do anything to get rid of them?

when my Paradiso Gene used to blow up due to too much rain, it used to attract whole munch of bugs. mostly bees, flies, hornets, wasps. don't remember seeing moth. but shouldn't removing damaged figs help? or do they attack ones that's not damaged?

They seem to prefer the damaged/over ripe figs but will go after under ripe figs as well especially if they have open eyes.
It has been raining quite a bit so lots of damaged figs out there today. I pitched a couple gallons and saved about a gallon that looked ok.
