    What is this green fig, Green Ischia ?

    Well I've gone and done it....I lost a tag from a pot. At one time I was sent a cutting that was successful of Green Ischia. I can't find that plant now among my tagged plants. Could this be it ? I think I picked it too early, but it was soft like ripe or getting ripe . Thanks !

    I believe Green Ischia is dark pink/red inside.

        Not Green Ischia.
        Interior is more like my White Marseilles (though that is complicated as I understand it).
        Zone 8b, College Station, TX

          Green Ischia is a green fig with red inside.. This fig is looking like White Marsailles.

            I did not send White Marsailles. I will have to check my notes to see if I can find a match. Maybe Hollier, not sure.

            Condit's White Marseilles has similar fig, but WM has different leaf shape.

            Peter's Honey is about the same as Lattarula/Italian Honey. But its inside color is slightly pink. Lattarola is also red/pink inside. Not sure about the linkage between Lattarola and Peter's Honey. Kadota and Conadria are even more reddish inside. Conadria is a hybrid.

              Well, what it is is what you get.

              I think Lattarula/Italian Honey and Peter's Honey taste similar. Pretty good. Some complain about Kadota and Conadria.

              What are the possibilities you might have had?
              JLB zone 8b south Mississippi. Wish list really good figs thay don't split with all this dang humidity

                Nothing that doesn't have a tag except this one, EXCEPT, well gosh darn when I first started rooting I probably lost a dozen cuttings or more, but I can't remember that far back .
