I was fortunate to win a bid for NSDS (Fruitnut) grafted. The plant came with 3 figs and didn’t grow an inch since June. I removed 2 figs thinking perhaps that it should help the growing process, but all for nothing. I checked on the roots and they are pretty healthy. So this made me less worried. One fig that was left surprisingly swelled and result is in the pictures. I can’t even describe amazing taste! By far the best fig I ever had.

Very nice! If it’s ripened fruit, I would say it’s holding its own and will probably grow in time. 🤞🏼
I have a grafted one also, by someone else though, and mine hasn’t grown very much either. It’s had me worried! I would airlayer it off, but it’s remained at 5 inches, so not much to work with. But I’m hoping mine will grow in time too. 😬 The fruit definitely looks worth it!𓂃𓂃☽︎ᨏ𓂃High Desert Foothills𓂃ᨏ☼𓂃𓂃

Wow, it looks amazing, now the question is which other figs are you comparing it against? 😀San Francisco Zone 10B.

Vitaly Krovlev it’s a very high praise then that the first fig is beating all those!! 🤯

I should probably be saying “in my humble opinion”. And add to that - it was my second highest $$$$ fig tree purchase.

Congrats! Looks great. Mine has been the slowest grower of all my varieties so far as well. Soooo slow. But I’ve been plucking off new figs, might just decide to leave one on now.
