This is another that I gathered while I was up at the West Coast Fig Fest. I remembered it being a beautiful fig but it’s been almost 2 years!! It finally matured enough and is ripening some delicious figs.

They are gorgeous with a beautiful color, inside and out. They have a super thin skin that tastes of sweet cinnamon. The inside is dense and syrupy and it is sweet with ripe strawberry. I’m very pleased.

The person that gives the name I select will get cuttings from this in the winter. I have no idea if it’s common and odds are that it won’t be.

Made an comment earliet in a current topic about finding wild figs that should I ever go wild fig hunting, fully equipped for survival, and find a new favorable type I'd name it Trash Bag.

I will keep the name simple and straight to the point, it is "Violet Sweetnamon"

Violet = skin color
Sweetnamon = sweet cinnamon flavor

Since Cinnamon originates from India , I would probably use a Hindi name of Cinnamon along with strawberry.
