Was thrilled to see some of my early ripening figs - Ronde de Bordeaux and Improved Celeste - ready for picking. But, I left them on the trees for another day or two, just to get the best out of them. Surprised how fast they swell up and ripen within a week or so.

I think the hardest part of growing figs is waiting that extra couple of days to let the figs get to peak ripeness.Tony, Toronto Canada USDA was 4B now 5B
