    ah Battaglia---nice!! It is pretty early .Did you give it a head start??? My tree has nice fat green figs but I dont expect them to swell until at least Sept.

      Yes, I have 2 Battaglia trees in 15 gallon containers moved to my greenhouse in March.

    Good Move!! Try letting it ripen more where they start shriveling a little. The flavor is incredible.

      I know. Problem is it was too much rain these days and it started to siphon too much water. So I had to take them off the tree.

    Oh boy Battaglia in august is right 😊 Well done, cap’n! Its gonna be fun too see which will come 1st here,: strawberry verte, green ischia, battaglia, panache, adriatic jh, smgg?

    ive had to pick lots too early also, simply to salvage them. Rain rain rain. Five people dead here in our area from flooding, and another 10 people dead from flooding yesterday in Tennessee not too many hours from here. Be safe, these flash floods are getting wild and crazy. Now a direct hit on New England with the hurricane? Getting crazy indeed

        I just saw that in Tennnessee, oh my,thats crazy sad !! Yeah the hurricane was suppose to hit us here on Long ISland but I think its just missing us instead. So no heavy winds just rain rain rain last night and all day long today.
