  • My first Long Yellow

I picked my first Long Yellow this morning. Although it was soft and no latex came out, it could have used another couple days.

One of my kids said it tasted like water with seeds and I have to agree. There was a mild honey aftertaste. I hope the flavor improves since it’s a first year tree.

You can’t expect too much from a first year tree, it will get better

I think the “long” part is referring to the stem
