Today's harvest

After eating quite a few figs early in the day, I still picked almost 3 pounds of figs today. Also there are still quite a few overripe figs on the tree eaten by the wasp.

What variety are the green figs?

I have no idea. I grow yard long beans for many years. The harvest was not good. Then, 3 years ago, my parents gave me this variety. It's a game changer. Now, every year I have more beans that we can eat. This variety is tender, soft, tasty, and not crunchy. That's exactly how I like it. Want some seeds in the winter? You can grow them almost year round in Florida. Other than stink bugs, nothing bothers them.

Would love seeds! Thank you Jake.. I used to eat them in a Surinam/Indian dish called Roti. I tried substituting regular green beans, but the taste is totally different.

You’re doing quite well and pretty quickly. Are the green ones Conadria and Peter’s Honey? Dark ones RDB and Mt Etnas?

Don, yes. You recognize them all. Also, there are a couple of VDB which is not as good as it should be, because I did not water the tree enough. There are also a couple of DTE, from the cuttings you gave me. Peter's taste is mediocre, not as good as Lou Mounti said.
