  • My First Coll De Dame Blanc!

I picked a couple of these figs late morning. I still have one in the fridge. The figs had fallen in the organza bag. No insects or spoilage. I've had several before where insects had gotten to them. So, this is my first to taste. We've had several days of dry hot temps near 100. This is a second year tree. It's in full sun morning till late afternoon. Medium sweetness with a strong berry flavor. Thick texture fig. Very good! I look forward to these berry flavored figs.

I love this fig as much as I like Black Madeira, two exceptional fig variety !
If you don't have fig wasps, try your best to ripen BM and CdDB.

              Looks wonderful.
I will (hopefully) pick my first ripe CdDB soon.
I am looking forward to comparing it to Noir and to Gris.
So far, Gris is my favorite.

Thanks! My Hative D'Argenteuil has been my best berry flavored fig so far. CDDB is my second best. Either way I'm excited to be growing these different varieties of figs.
