Turquie II = Izmir?

I haven't been able to fruit Izmir yet, but the leaves from the Turquie II I obtained from Brian M are exactly the same as my Izmir fig tree leaves. These are long-fingered and quite distinctive. I have over 50 trees and none have leaves like these two. Has anyone else speculated about the similarity? Could they be the same variety?

Well I have them both growing at my farm so I will compare

Maybe it’s just me but the leaves on mine don’t look too similar. The pics of fruit I’ve seen look different too.

Here is the fruit off my Turquie 2 tree. It is a fairly large fig and is shaped kind of like an oval. I don’t grow Izmir but it seems different to me.
