Today I tasted the first fig of the main bTurk harvest - Brown Turkey. Pleased with the weight of 58 grams, more than that of the breba. The color is not what I expected. More green with purple spots than brown. The fig is fully ripe, very juicy, sweet with a watermelon flavor and a little sourness, delicious. I will collect the next figs when they have dried up a bit. Maybe the taste will become bombistic.
The first Dalmatian fig is ripe. Her skin is cracked on her side, let it hang for another day. It is very large, approximately are about 100 grams.
Violette from Bordeaux and Brunswick began to ripen. Two more varieties around mid-September.
All nine plants grow in the ground for the third year.
I'm looking forward to!
