From a 1st year tree. I don't have much experience tasting different varieties, but this seemed rich and fruity. The tree is a vigorous grower and puts out a lot of figs. This was the smaller of two that ripened. I accidentally knocked the other off while moving the tree.

does 14g seem to be the average size?

Halligan- The one that I knocked off was about twice the size. It's a 1st year tree, so I'm not sure what to expect.
