Tea made with fig leaves has shown to reduce blood sugar levels, but have never seen the same said about eating the fruit.

I forget where I saw this , but it wasn't a medical journal, so grain of salt, but I like any positive spin on the inverted flours.

          Cool find!
I recall 1 forum member giving up figs because the high Potassium levels can cause heart issues, he said. His levels were too high & figs pushed hom in the β€œred”.

looks like they lower blood pressure ftom eating them. The high K replaces stored Na

Thanks Jessup42 - I have been living in Middlesex county for the past 32 years, my wife just the past 12 years πŸ˜‰, in South Amboy to be more precise. Is life much better in Hominy Valley?

Good Ol south amboy. Im spotswood & wifes east bruns, but also lived in monroe & milltown. Milltown is awesome!

I thought leaving nj would rid me of the worlds biggest A-holes. I was wrong. The land is beautiful but I dream of a world without people. People suck everywhere! I wont share details on a public forum since Ive many not-so-nice things to say.

            Cheers to dirty jersey 😁
