  • Paratjal Rimada NY Zone 7A

I find it interesting that this was my first ripened main crop fig among so called early ripeners like Red Lebanese BV which i also have that are still hard and green. There were more PR figs too that are still green but this one was the first to form back in June. Why this one ripened well ahead could just be a one off. It was perfectly ripe this time and ID say very sweet taste with a backround of mixed fruity flavor. Perhaps 8-8.5 out of 10. It was good but no wow factor. Young plant and first of this year .

I guessing you will get the wow factor before the end of the season.
    That is a beauty!

I sure hope so. But I would still give it another year to see if it improves some more.

It was pretty good but Ive seen better even over here. These figs are very weather reliant to bring out the best

    Thanks for the honest review.

I've been tempted to add this variety but always thought it needed a long season.
