  • fig flower??

    this is interesting. I've only seen a fig split when it was nearly ripe...not the case here. there is another fig or two down lower on the tree that look ok...green and still intact. This is a 2 year Medici #3 tree....by the way.

    Neat! Haha, it thinks it's a normal flower this year. I love how weird figs can be.

      That’s so weird! It’s like the Che plants in a pot from the old days , looks like a small dwarf sitting in a tree 🤣

        yeah, it is weird....bizzare. it looks like the inside was growing and the skin was not and it turned inside out. there is no brown coloration...doesn't look like any rot or disease. IDK !!
        But I like the smiley face !

            Had an I258 or GNaf do something similar last year, it managed to ripen and was good for a first year plant.

            Really!!! Would have been cool to have seen how it looked when it ripen! Might have to get with for the GNAF 😀 , waiting for my cutting from Hillary’s to root for I258 .

                      I'm sure that would make it explode further...lol....seems the insides are growing faster than the shell....mine are still looking nice...pretty much looks just as in the photo a week plus ago. I'm gonna let it go and see what happens...
