  • LSU Scott's Yellow experts needed

Just wanted to verify whether this is the real Scott's Yellow.
No breba set this season , the main crop is mainly sweet flavored.

Hello Kerry.my LSU Scott's Yellow is originally from LSU and I would say that yours is a match with mine...........shape of fig is the same also leaf pattern is identical. The only difference is the color of fig ,but its close, but our environment is different .......

        What he said, LOL
Looks like mine except the color is not yellow enough, shape of fig, and leaf looks right.

Great fig, roots well, grows well, lots of figs, and eats great.

You guys are killing me. Mine is loaded with late figs that probably will not ripen this year. The shape looks right only smaller.

Thanks so much for the confirmation.
I'll wait a little longer with the next ones to see if there is a more yellowish coloring that develops.
Most of these had a drip of honey at the eye .
This variety seems to feel particularly heavy for its size , a solid feeling fig.
The plant is fairly young but is 3 stems each about 6 feet tall with some branching and very productive.
            Thanks again !
