  • Saratoga/Chico Strawberry

    This is a very late fig in my collection. It has a hard to describe flavor. It's nice and sweet. My plant is at least three years old and never gets an early start. I might fit it in the greenhouse so I can taste it in the heat of the summer. It might turn out to be a keeper.

    It's nice to see some more on this fig. I have 5 rooted cuttings of this variety that are just starting out. Hopefully it will do well, and produce earlier, down here in zone 8b.

        Ross mine is young, so I haven't had any breba, but it was a decent fig.

            Mine is three years old and it gave me one fig last year. However, it was missing the red eye lol hmmm
